Hey there. I’m Seth, the founder and sole artist behind Deus Volt Metalworking. I’m a certified welder through the state of New Mexico, and I leverage those abilities both in the artistic and practical fields.

One of the aspects that got me into welding was its premise. I would be creating things that last, are a benefit to others, and represent a person of commitment and integrity. Two years ago, I only extended that to the industrial field. But now, after becoming more and more enraptured by the inherent beauty of welding, I’ve learned that these qualities can be found regardless of how my skills are applied. I put forth that same effort and care into the things that don’t hold up trailers or fences, and the results? Art pieces unlike any other, that you can be certain will matter just as much as the things I repair, but in a different way.

I’m glad to have found this path, and getting to share my talents and interests with you is a gift that I cannot appreciate enough.

Sure, it can be hard at times, but that’s what the name is for; to remind me why I need not fear. Centuries ago the Knights Hospitaller cried out, “Deus Vult!” as they raised their swords in defiance of the approaching enemy. Though I may have changed the lettering a little bit to reference my welding abilities, the message remains.

“God wills it.”

Because when you’re with God, He’s with you.
